About the position
In this recruitment, the court is seeking a specialist rapporteur within the tax area.
The specialist rapporteur plays a very significant role in enabling the court to fulfill its important societal task. As a specialist rapporteur, you will primarily handle cases within your specialist area and be assigned the most complex cases. You will also work with other case types at the court.
As a specialist rapporteur, you follow legal developments within your specialist area and share your knowledge. You conduct internal training, support your colleagues, and collaborate with the court's other specialist rapporteurs.
The assignment includes receiving study visits, participating in projects and working groups. This also includes working with consultation papers and participating in external networks.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a law degree (juristexamen) or a juris kandidatexamen, or another university degree deemed relevant within the specialist area.
At the start of the employment, you must be qualified as a notary (notariemeriterad) or have at least two years of experience in qualified legal work at a general administrative court. In total, you must have at least three years of experience in qualified legal work, of which at least two years within the current specialist area.
To perform well in the position as a specialist rapporteur, you need to be a highly skilled lawyer with a well-developed legal method and high legal competence in the requested specialist area, as well as excellent written and oral presentation skills. You must have excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrate very good judgment. Your work capacity must be very high, and you must be very result-oriented, performing work in a structured and meticulous manner.
The cases handled by a specialist rapporteur can be very complex, extensive, and varied, and sometimes require rapid handling. This requires that you have excellent adaptability and can work very constructively, remaining positive and professional even under pressure. Part of the work as a specialist rapporteur involves conveying and training your colleagues within your specialist area and serving as a support within the specialist area at the court. Therefore, it is important that you have excellent communication skills. As a specialist rapporteur, you work together with the Administrative Court's employees and with external parties. This requires that you also have excellent collaboration skills and establish trust in your contact with others.
To be considered for employment, you must meet high requirements regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means that you stand up for democratic values and the state value system that governs the activities of the Swedish Courts. We require that you comply with applicable laws. Work samples and tests may become part of the recruitment process. Prior to employment, background checks may be conducted.
Swedish citizenship is a legal requirement.
